Biography

Dr. Tran is passionate about clinical excellence and helping others live better, more meaningful lives through evidence-based practices. Her approach to psychological services is built on compassion and collaboration. Dr. Tran strives to provide empathy and acceptance in a safe and non-judgmental environment. Her particular areas of interest are anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and relationship issues.

Through her work and training in various settings across Canada, Dr. Tran has a broad scope of clinical experience. These settings include hospital programs, correctional facilities, primary care, mental health clinics, as well as the private sector. She also has a strong interest in effecting change at a broader, strategic level. Dr. Tran has done so in her various clinical roles, including co-leading hospital-wide initiatives and authoring a number of peer-reviewed publications and presentations. Outside her work at the Momenta clinic, she holds a clinical leadership role at a leading company providing virtual care solutions. She also provides consultation and education to family physicians and psychological services to their patients.

Dr. Tran has a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in clinical psychology with close to 15 years of post-Ph.D. clinical experience. She is currently registered as a psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario and College of Alberta Psychologists. She is also a member of the Canadian Psychological Association and she has clinical competency working with adults and older adults.
