Meeshika Sharma is a compassionate therapist who utilizes a client centred integrative approach to help clients gain insight supporting their goals to deal with challenges, and redefine themselves in order to lead a contented and purposeful life. With a trauma focused lens, Meeshika uses evidence based approaches, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion therapy, Emotions Focused Therapy (EFT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
Meeshika (she/her), is a Registered Psychotherapist with College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology. In her journey of therapeutic experience, she has supported children, adolescents, adults, parents and couples in educational and private practice settings. Meeshika has a special interest of working with couples and has completed the Emotion Focused Therapy externship to build her additional skills. She has completed Perinatal Mental Health training to support, new parents and expectant mothers.
Meeshika firmly believes that we can all break the negative pattern we are stuck in and heal when we are in the presence of someone who endeavours to provide a safe environment and facilitates the process.
